Jimmy Butler is one of the best players of his generation, but he always seemingly burns bridges with his former teams. Butler discussed his fallout with the Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat amid the Golden State Warriors' four-day break. Speaking to "Dubs Talk" on NBC Sports Bay Area, Butler was asked about what happened between him and his former teams. His reputation has always been in question, though the Warriors have seen his dedication to winning firsthand. "I'm always about winning, winning at all costs," Butler said. "So, when it doesn't stay about winning, it can become about many different things. If it ain't about winning, I'm telling y’all right now, I'm not here for it. It's got to be about winning. Everything we do, it's got to be about winning."Butler added: "If it's not and there's any other agendas, y'all won't like it cause I don't care."Jimmy Butler was a welcome addition to the Golden State Warriors in February, helping the franchise finish the regular season strong. They made it to the Western Conference Finals, but an injury slowed down Butler. Steph Curry also suffered a strained hamstring as the Minnesota Timberwolves won the series in five games. Nevertheless, Butler is here to stay and is loving his life in the Bay Area. He has two years left in his contract, though the Warriors' success has not been evident this season. They are 13-12, sitting eighth in the West standings heading into their four-day rest. Jimmy Butler on why he's loving life in Golden StateJimmy Butler on why he's loving life in Golden State. Butler's hard work and dedication have won over the fanbase, with the six-time All-Star reciprocating the love.Butler told the "Dubs Talk" podcast that he's enjoying his time in Golden State because the people are staying in the moment. "Everybody’s like here in the present time," Butler said. "You know, you’re in Miami, everybody's down there for vacation, and then they leave, and then they come back, duh duh duh. Everybody here (at) the games cheering, getting coffee, walking their dog, talking to everybody, they're living in the moment. And they won’t let that moment pass them, which is a good thing."Butler added that the Warriors also make things easier because they are aligned with his hard-working nature and humble approach to basketball.
