The superstar forward was listed as "questionable" due to left hamstring soreness and was later ruled out for at least 10 days owing to a Grade 1 hamstring strain. The former Duke phenom has already missed one game this season, but suited up in the Pelicans' blowout 137-106 loss against the OKC Thunder on Sunday. He delivered a steady performance, missing out on a double-double by a solitary rebound.

In 28 minutes, Zion Williamson scored 20 points on 7 of 14 shooting. He pulled down nine rebounds, dished out six assists and recorded one steal. More updates on his status and health are expected when coach Willie Green appears from the pregame presser.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans ruled out four players on the eve of the game. Dejounte Murray (right Achilles rupture), Trey Alexander (G League two-way), Hunter Dickinson (G League two-way) and Bryce McGowens (G League two-way) will remain sidelined.
