Milwaukee Bucks center Myles Turner took a slight shot at his former teammate, Tyrese Haliburton. The two played together with the Indiana Pacers until Turner left the team that drafted him and joined the Bucks this past summer. During the big man's recent guest appearance at Thanasis Antetokounmpo's "Thanalysis Show," he had something to say about Haliburton being a "fake tough guy."Turner and Haliburton had some success on the court while they were teammates. The Pacers reached the Eastern Conference finals the past two seasons, and even played the NBA Finals last campaign. The two were successful on the court and developed a strong bond off the court. This is why fans were caught off guard when Turner went on Antetokounmpo's show and called Haliburton a tough guy. According to the starting center, the two-time All-Star has a lot of confidence to talk smack to the opponents when they're playing. To him, he sees the 6-foot-5 guard's confidence get boosted when the entire team is with him on the court.“I just feel like, one, Tyrese knows he’s protected, too,” Turner said. “So he can go out there and talk s**t, say whatever the hell he wants to do and he knows he has backup at the end of the day.But when he's away from the action, the Bucks center thinks that Tyrese Haliburton isn't the type of person to do the same thing outside. Turner said in the podcast that the star guard doesn't have the same confidence when he's off the court.“Now, he’s not going to be talking the same s**t if you’re in the middle of the street or whatever the f**k it is out there. That’s just what guys do in this league.”Haliburton has yet to address what Turner said about him.Myles Turner said that Tyrese Haliburton's injury led the Pacers to change their mind about his contractBefore leaving the Pacers, Myles Turner was the longest-tenured player for the franchise. Given the success they've had in recent years, Turner saw a future with Tyrese Haliburton and the team. Throughout the season, many expected the big man to secure a pleasurable deal for him to remain with the team. However, the former Texas center revealed that things changed when Haliburton suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the NBA Finals."'You’re going to get taken care of.’ Then the unfortunate situation happens in the Finals with Tyrese [Haliburton], and I guess the front office and ownership just changed their mind," Turner revealed. The offer he received from the Pacers was $23 million per season. Fortunately for him, he got a better deal from the Bucks when he signed a four-year, $107 million contract. As for Indiana, they are taking their time with Tyrese Haliburton and will unlikely be a playoff team this season.
