Kuminga was listed as out on the injury report for the Magic showdown due to bilateral knee tendonitis. The star forward will miss his third consecutive game, but could make his comeback when the Warriors matchup against the Miami Heat on the backend of a back-to-back on Wednesday.

Speaking on Willard & Dibs podcast on Monday, Kerr exuded optimism and remained "hopeful" on Kuminga's comeback against Miami. If the 6-foot-7 forward returns on Wednesday, he will play off the bench after recently losing his place in the starting lineup. Meanwhile, Kuminga is averaging 13.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 47.8% shooting, including 32.4% from deep.

On the flipside, the Warriors' veteran core of Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler and Al Horford are cleared to suit up against the Magic. All four of them have missed time this season owing to injuries.

Having said that, the Dub's current three-game win streak has been fueled by Curry, Butler and Green's exceptional performance. The Warriors sit in seventh place in the West with a 9-6 record.
