Boozer is scouted to be the second No. 1 pick out of Duke in two years, after Flagg, who was selected No. 1 in the 2025 draft. In his freshman year, he has shown a dominant presence on both ends.

In 8 games, Cameron Boozer has tallied 183 points, 78 rebounds, 31 assists and 10 turnovers. After the game against Arkansas, Boozer became the first player in Division I or the NBA in the last 30 years to have 175+ points, 75+ rebounds, 25+ assists and 10 or fewer turnovers in a span of 8 games.

After the game, Cameron Boozer's mom, CeCe Boozer, posted a family picture with both her sons and her former husband. Their other son, Cayden Boozer, also plays for the Blue Devils.

Boozer is expected to be the No. 1 pick in next year's draft. Although he has shown that he can become a great two-way player in the league, there have been concerns among NBA executives about his ability to shoot from distance.
