After a long court battle, the jury finally ruled in the famed rapper's favor, holding Milagro liable for defamation and inflicting emotional distress on the "Hot Girl Summer" singer.According to Meghann Cuniff, Milagro was also found liable for trying to increase her reach by promoting a deep fake video of Stallion. The rapper was awarded a total of $75,000 in damages. According to Rolling Stone, the jury awarded Stallion $15,000 for defamation, $50,000 for promotion of the sexually explicit deep fake video and $8,000 for emotional distress. Moreover, an extra $2000 was awarded as punitive damages, $1000 each in defamation and emotional distress. Moreover, reports said that the jurors suggested that Milagro "should be treated as a media defendant," and if judges find the blogger as the media defendant, the defamation charges will be dropped, and so the defamation compensation.According to Cuniff, Judge Altonaga has yet to rule on "foundational post-judgment" issues, which might be about the question of Milagro being a media defendant. Megan Thee Stallion had sued Milagro in October last year. She alleged that the blogger had coordinated with Tory Lanez, who is serving a 10-year jail sentence for shooting and wounding Stallion in both feet, to spread "hateful rumors" against her and promote the rapper's deep fake sexually explicit video.Milagro had liked the fake video that wrongfully depicted Stallion involved in sexual acts.
