The Dodgers players earned $477,440, while the Yankees players earned $354,571 from their 24 percent share of the postseason pool.

According to Sportico, the Dodgers are expected to receive nearly $500,000 in prize money for their players, while the Blue Jays could receive around $350,000 for their players.

The postseason pool is calculated based on the gate receipts from the playoff games. The gate receipts are from the two games in the Wild Card round, three in the Division Series, and four each in the League Championship Series and World Series.

The 2024 NFL Super Bowl winners, the Philadelphia Eagles, distributed $357,000 to their players after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in February. Meanwhile, the NHL's Florida Panthers shared $250,000 for its players after their third consecutive Stanley Cup win this year.
