Former LA Dodgers teammates Corey Seager and Cody Bellinger went out on a double date with their partners, Madisyn Seager and Chase. This comes amid reports of the possibility that both of them can once again be teammates in the New York Yankees. Seager is under contract with the Rangers, while Bellinger is a free agent.

On Friday, Seager's wife, Madisyn, reposted a picture of Chase's in which she reacted:

"Madisyn Kiled It."

It appears that Madisyn played hosts for this dinner.

The picture was a beautifully arranged dinner plate featuring roasted turkey, stuffing, greens, and sweet potatoes, paired with a glass of white wine.

Both Seager and Bellinger made their MLB debut with the Dodgers. Seager started his career in 2015 and became a key figure at shortstop in 2016. Bellinger joined him in 2017, and the duo spent the next five years together on the Dodgers.

During this time, the Dodgers won five straight NL West titles, three National League pennants (2017, 2018, 2020) and one World Series championship (2020).

Corey Seager and Cody Bellinger both tied to Yankees

This offseason, a lot of attention is on both former Dodgers teammates, who are rumored to be targeted by the same team.

The Yankees are emerging as the top suitor in potential trade talks with the Rangers for Seager, who is on a 10-year, $325 million contract. Seager has still six years and $189 million remaining from this contract. With the Rangers trying to shed some payroll in 2026, trading Seager could be one way.

Moreover, Seager is just two years from his World Series heroics and the Yankees could really use someone of his potential in the infield.

Meanwhile, Bellinger opted for free agency after registering a solid year with the Yankees. He hit .272 with 29 home runs. The Yankees are reportedly "very interested" in re-signing him but his versatility could attract some competition in the open market.

It remains to be seen if Seager and Bellinger are just few months away from being teammates again.
