"Way better than watching Dancing with the Stars" - Bobby Witt Jr. and wife Maggie’s mic’d-up banter steals the show at Dallas Stars game

With the 2025 MLB season in the books, Kansas City Royals star Bobby Witt Jr. enjoyed some hockey action with his wife, Maggie, this week.

Witt Jr. and Maggie attended the Dallas Stars' game against the Edmonton Oilers at American Airlines Center on Tuesday. The Royals star was mic'd up at the glass and was commenting on the game with his wife.

In one of the clips, Witt Jr. said:

"This is way better than watching Dancing with the Stars."

The Royals shortstop also highlighted a play from Stars forward Mikko Rantanen, informing Maggie that he was traded to the team.

"Mikko Rantanen, they traded for that dude last year and he's nasty," Witt said.

Rantanen signed a $96 million contract extension with the Stars after his trade to Dallas. He had the Royals All-Star hyped during the back-and-forth game against the Oilers.

"Oh if he (Rantanen) gets a hattrick I'm throwing my hat on the ice," Witt Jr. said.

With both teams coming from behind in the contest, the game headed into a shootout. The Stars prevailed after goaltender Casey DeSmith's heroics to claim a 4-3 win.

Blake Snell and Dodgers teammates attend LA Kings' game against Florida Panthers

Bobby Witt Jr. wasn't the only MLB star at an NHL game this week as two-time Cy Young winner and Los Angeles Dodgers ace Blake Snell attended the LA Kings' game against the defending champions, the Florida Panthers on Thursday.

Snell was coined by Dodgers teammates Evan Phillips and Alex Call as the trio visited to locker room to read out the Kings' starting lineup for Thursday's game.

The trio brought the World Series trophy with them as part of their celebrations after defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in the Fall Classic to become the first team since the New York Yankees in more than two decades to go back-to-back.
