Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Trey Yesavage stole the spotlight in the closing stages of the MLB season. The rookie ace grabbed the headlines after his historic Game 5 performance against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series.
Yesavage's girlfriend, Taylor Frick, who supported the Blue Jays ace from the stands throughout his rookie season, went back to Greenville for alumni weekend at East Carolina University.
Frick shared a glimpse of her getaway with her friends in her Instagram story on Friday.
"We are so back," Frick captioned her Instagram story. "Alumi weekend unlocked!"

Yesavage reportedly met Frick at the university while he was playing baseball for the East Carolina Pirates. He pitched from the bullpen in his freshman year with the Pirates before donning the starting role with the Charlottesville Tom Sox.
The couple made their relationship public on social media in 2023. Yesavage reportedly made the first call to his girlfriend after he was promoted to the Blue Jays' MLB roster in September.

Although Trey Yesavage had a remarkable postseason as a rookie, the Blue Jays ace failed to push his team over the line against the Dodgers after pitching in relief in the World Series-deciding Game 7.
Following the heartbreaking loss, Taylor Frick consoled the Blue Jays rookie with a heartfelt Instagram post.
“Words could never fully describe the emotions I’ve experienced watching you over the past year,” Frick wrote in her post. “Although you have changed uniforms more times than I can count, your heart and drive has never altered. you have stayed humble, kind, and true to the person you were in the purple and gold uniform from the day I met you."
Earlier this week, Frick announced that the duo had started a new chapter after Yesavage moved in with her.
"Cheers to this new chapter roomies," Frick captioned her story featuring Yesavage.
