Toronto Blue Jays rookie Trey Yesavage and Taylor Frick first met at East Carolina University, where Yesavage played baseball and Frick was a student. Now, years later, and just fresh off their engagement, the duo returned to their alma mater to enjoy a game of college basketball.On Tuesday, the couple was spotted attending the Pirates game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks. He made his MLB debut in September and went on to become a big asset for the Blue Jays in their deep postseason run as the starting pitcher. In the 2025 World Series against the LA Dodgers, the rookie struck out 12 batters in Game 5. Frick was emotional after the game, as she wrote:"Still crying. Yesavage posted a heartfelt note:"Happy anniversary to the woman that completes me! … I love you more and more with every day that passes."Frick replied to the post:"I love you so much my sweet boy, a million anniversaries to go."After the heartbreaking World Series loss in Game 7 against the Dodgers, Frick consoled Trey Yesavage was embraced with a warm hug and heartfelt message as his girlfriend tried lifting up his spirits.
