Tommy Edman’s son Eli gives Dodgers’ $74M star the perfect morning surprise amid offseason break

Tommy Edman’s wife, Kristen Edman, shared a glimpse of their offseason morning by posting a picture of their two-year-old baby, Eli, standing on the LA Dodgers second baseman's face.

The couple is expecting their second child. Kristen shared a carousel on Sept. 8, with Eli holding a sonography shot.

"Eli’s promoted to BIG brother, baby #2 is on the way!" Kristen wrote.

The couple began dating in 2017 and got married in 2019. Kristen is from San Diego and is a real estate agent.

During a press conference before Game 1 of the 2024 World Series, Tommy discussed how his move to the Dodgers impacted his family.

"The move to the West Coast is actually a move home because I’m from San Diego," Tommy said. "It definitely made things a little bit easier for my wife and son to be closer to their family."

He was traded to LA by the St. Louis Cardinals in July 2024. Edman signed a five-year, $74 million contract with the Dodgers.

Kristen Edman shared a series of images on her Instagram from the LA Dodgers' victory parade on Wednesday. Her husband, Tommy Edman, wore a black championship outfit, while she wore a black bodysuit layered with the team's jacket, highlighting her baby bump. Their son, Eli, wore a customized Dodgers T-shirt and shorts.

"Is this real life?!? World Series ‘25 parade was insane 💙 LA, thank you for showing your love & support all year!" Kristen wrote.

Kristen also reshared a post from Alex Vesia on Instagram on Nov. 1. It featured the LA pitcher, his wife, Kayla, and their daughter, Sterling.

"Our little angel, we love you forever & you’re with us always. Our beautiful daughter went to heaven Sunday, October 26th. There are no words to describe the pain we’re going through, but we hold her in our hearts and cherish every second we had with her," Kayla wrote on Oct. 26.
