During a press conference before Game 1 of the 2024 World Series, Tommy discussed how his move to the Dodgers impacted his family."The move to the West Coast is actually a move home because I’m from San Diego," Tommy said. "It definitely made things a little bit easier for my wife and son to be closer to their family."He was traded to LA by the St. Louis Cardinals in July 2024.
