"This isn't just wrong, it's evil" - Francisco Lindor's wife Katia condemns ICE's controversial actions in Massachusetts

Francisco Lindor's wife, Katia, has long been critical of the US immigration policy, particularly after Donald Trump took office. Now, Katia has shown her disdain for the actions of ICE (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement) near Boston, Massachusetts.

A video of ICE agents' violent actions against a family has been circulating online. The incident happened in Fitchburg at a traffic stop. On Saturday, journalist Jessica Yellin shared the video on her Instagram. Lindor's wife reshared it on her Instagram story.

"Trigger Warning: This is hard to watch (if you have a soul)," Katia captioned the post.

"This isn't just wrong...it's evil. And if you stand with it, then that same evil lies in you. One day, when you cry out for compassion and only find silence, remember -it's because you let your soul rot from the inside out," she added.

In the video, a man appeared to have a seizure while an ICE agent ripped his child away from him. Per Yellin, ICE agents left the two alone, but took the child's mother.

The journalist also shared that Fitchburg police said ICE conducted a traffic stop around 7 am on Friday. Bystanders near the scene reportedly screamed at the agents to stop, forcing them to seek assistance from the police.

Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani defeated independent candidate Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa to win the 2025 New York City mayoral election.

After the Democratic nominee's victory became official, Francisco Lindor's wife shared Mamdani's video post on her Instagram story.

"Supporting politicians who fight for immigrants, artists, workers, and everyone who deserves a dignified life - isn't against my interests, even if I'm in a different economic position, My well-being is tied to the well- being of others. When humanity thrives, we all do. Choosing kindness, equity, and solidarity isn't radical-it's what keeps us human," Katia captioned the post.

Lindor's wife also had some stern words for people who have no empathy for their fellow human beings. She concluded the message by stating that the real enemies are not immigrants, but the ultra-rich who are hoarding wealth without sharing.
