It will be another celebratory weekend for the Los Angeles Dodgers, fresh off their back-to-back World Series wins, as pitcher Tyler Glasnow and fiancée Meghan Murphy tie the knot.Taking to Instagram on Friday, Meghan reposted a picture from friend Sarah Anderson, of the couple embracing in front of a serene sunset. Standing on the deck of a boat, Glasnow rocked a pair of black shorts, while Meghan wore crocheted loose-fit pants over a white bikini. She was also holding a tumbler cup in her hands.Tyler Glasnow's fiancée Meghan Murphy's Instagram story (Source: injector_meghan)The couple has been together since 2021. Then, with the Tampa Bay Rays, Glasnow was recovering from injury and going through his rehab routine when he noticed Meghan sitting in the stands. He sent a batboy with his number written on a baseball. He got no text from his future wife. Meghan, instead, came the next day and similarly exchanged her number, going behind the Rays' dugout to toss over a ball to the pitcher. Since then, Meghan has been a constant support throughout his MLB journey.Glasnow went 4-3 with a 3.19 ERA in 18 starts this regular season for the Dodgers. In the postseason, in six appearances, he pitched 21.1 innings with a lowly 1.69 ERA as he won his second World Series ring in his second year with the team.Tyler Glasnow's wedding plans include special destination, private chefEarlier in August, in conversation with Chris Rose of Talkin' Baseball, Glasnow had opened up about their wedding plans. While he didn't reveal the exact destination, he stated that the couple was getting married on a private island. They are having their personal chef flown in while he is also taking care of everyone's accommodation."Megan's doing a lot of stuff, yeah, I'm helping when I can, certain things with the food and all that stuff. It's nice to sit down and do it with her, but she's been doing a really amazing job with it. It's a smaller wedding, it's not super crazy." He also stated that he arranges for a similar getaway every offseason, only this time he is hosting his wedding.
