Spencer Torkelson ties the knot with Makenna Mattei in Healdsburg; wives of Zach McKinstry, Kerry Carpenter, Colt Keith and more arrive in style

Detroit Tigers infielder Spencer Torkelson married his fiancée, Makenna Mattei, in Healdsburg, in California's Wine Country, on Saturday. The couple had been engaged since January of last year.

Many of Torkelson's Tigers teammates and their significant others also arrived to celebrate the occasion. The wives of Zach McKinstry, Kerry Carpenter, Parker Meadows, Colt Keith, the fiancée of Matt Vierling and the girlfriend of Riley Greene took the trip for the ceremony with their partners.

On Sunday, Keith's wife, Kaitlyn, shared a multisnap post on her Instagram, highlighting moments from before, after and during the wedding.

McKinstry's wife, Kara, Meadows' spouse, Parker, and Vierling's fiancée, Allie Thomas, also did the same on their Instagrams.

For the wedding, Spencer Torkelson rocked a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie, while his bride donned an off-the-shoulder white satin gown. Parker shared the snap of the couple on her post.

Meanwhile, Kara wore a long black dress with a high neckline and long sleeves, while Carpenter's wife, Lauren, rocked a brown, form-fitting gown with an asymmetrical halter neckline.

Kaitlyn opted for a strapless bronze maxidress, and Allie chose an off-the-shoulder black gown with long sleeves. Green's girlfriend, Alison Bloomquist, wore a backless, halter-neck maxi dress, while Parker looked graceful in a full-length, empire-waist gown.

Emmy Award-winning television presenter Guy Fieri was a guest at the wedding. The wives of McKinstry, Carpenter and Meadows posed with Fieri. Kara and Parker shared the snaps on their Instagrams.

Spencer Torkelson's wife, Makenna, was proud of his 2025 season

Spencer Torkelson's postseason ended in the ALDS when the Detroit Tigers lost to the Seattle Mariners in five games. From a home run standpoint, Carpenter's 2025 season matched his previous.

In 155 games, Torkelson hit 31 dingers, equaling his tally from the 2023 season. However, his 2.3 WAR for the season was significantly higher than in 2023, when it was just 1.0.

On Oct. 13, Torkelson's wife, Makenna, shared a multisnap Instagram post, showing admiration for him.

"Postseason 2025 🧡 Proud of my guy and thankful for it all!!" she captioned the post.
