The Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series contests against the Toronto Blue Jays were attended by several celebrities, including Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.

Harry attended Game 4 of the World Series at Dodger Stadium with his wife. He wore a Dodgers cap while sitting in the front row in the stands, creating controversy among the Blue Jays fan base.

Harry later apologized, explaining that he had worn the cap because he had been invited to the game by the Dodgers' ownership. In an interview with CTV News, Harry said:

"Firstly, I would like to apologize to Canada for wearing it. Secondly, I was under duress. There wasn’t much choice. When you’re missing a lot of hair on top, and you’re sitting under flood lights, you’ll take any hat that’s available.”

However, baseball fans didn't buy his apology.

After apologizing for wearing a Dodgers cap during the World Series, Harry wore a Blue Jays hat during his interview to pledge his allegiance to the Canadian team.

“I’m going to wear this from now on,” Harry said.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan watched Dodgers' Game 7 win against Blue Jays

While Prince Harry pledged his allegiance to the Blue Jays, his wife, Meghan, an LA native, remains a die-hard Dodgers fan. After the Dodgers successfully defended their World Series title against the Blue Jays in the best-of-seven series, Meghan celebrated the win with her friend McKee Zajfen.

In a clip shared by the former actress, Meghan jumped in celebration and kissed Harry, who didn't share the same enthusiasm after the Blue Jays failed to end their World Series drought.
