Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani left singer Michael Buble awestruck after using his song "Feeling Good" as his walk-up song before games.

The Canadian singer-songwriter revealed that he met the Japanese superstar and asked the reason behind choosing his song. The four-time MVP said it was his wife, Mamiko Tanaka, who chose the song.

"The coach of the Dodgers was nice enough to introduce me to Shohei Ohtani and I said to him, 'Why did you choose my song?' And very quickly he turned to his wife and it was his wife who chose it."

Buble, who is a Blue Jays fan, was "conflicted" during the World Series in October as Toronto squared up against Ohtani's Dodgers in the best-of-seven series.

“The fact that the greatest ballplayer maybe arguably ever in the history of the game, every single time he walks up to bat, Ohtani uses my song Feeling Good,” Buble said on The Stephen A. Smith Show. “That’s something … then I’ve got to somehow fight that as a Canadian my beloved Blue Jays are going up against my hero. I’m conflicted.”

Michael Buble predicted tough battle for World Series crown between Blue Jays and Shohei Ohtani's Dodgers

The Dodgers were the favorites heading into the Fall Classic with many believing they would make light work of the AL Pennant winners. However, Michael Buble felt otherwise, claiming that the series would go down to the wire.

“I don’t think it’s going to be as easy as everybody thinks it’s going to be. I think it’s going to be way closer, I really do,” Buble said. “I think it’s going to be a battle. But this is the greatest thing about sports. The greatest thing about a best-of-seven … You never know.”

While Buble's prediction turned out to be true, his Blue Jays ended up on the losing side after a dramatic World Series-deciding Game 7.
