Kara's husband, Shane Bieber, started Game 4 for the Blue Jays. He threw 5.1 innings, allowing four hits and three walks for just one earned run. The right-hander called this game the "biggest" of his career.

"Biggest start of my career? Obviously, coming off Tommy John, I'm feeling pretty good, all things considered," Bieber said after the win. "But at the same time, coming off Tommy John, I'm very grateful for the opportunity. It was a big team win. I would have loved to have been able to get through a couple more innings, just coming off last night -- what a game that was.

"At the same time, these guys picked me up in a huge way. Fluharty, Chris Bassitt -- what can you say about that guy? One of my all-time favorites, very quickly. I already let him know that."

Bieber received support from the other end. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went deep against Shohei Ohtani for a go-ahead two-run home run in the third inning. The Blue Jays added four more runs in the seventh inning to put the finishing touches and level the World Series.
