The Toronto Blue Jays have made their first big splash this offseason as they have reportedly agreed to a seven-year deal with Dylan Cease, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.
The $210 million deal has boosted the Blue Jays roster, which just won the AL Championship Series before losing Game 7 of the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Blue Jays could still look to add after signing Dylan Cease
According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the Blue Jays are still looking to add to their pitching staff, maybe not in the starting pitching front but in the bullpen.
"World Series runners-up means business this winter," Heyman wrote on X. "Have also been pursuing back-end bullpen help, more."
This is in line with early offseason reports from Ken Rosenthal that reported an interest from the Blue Jays for former New York Mets closer Edwin Diaz. They also had interest in Raisel Iglesias before he agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Braves.
Robert Suárez, Pete Fairbanks, Kenley Jansen and Ryan Helsley are some more well-known bullpen names the Blue Jays could go after.
This interest and reported signing show that the Blue Jays are trying to make their roster count. They almost tasted success last season and are not leaving any room to not improve.
