As the LA Dodgers faced off against the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 4 of the NLCS, Shohei Ohtani put in arguably the best performance in MLB postseason history.

Pitching six innings, Shohei Ohtani allowed only two hits and zero earned runs, striking out 10 batters in the process, while also hitting three home runs in three plate appearances. The 31-year-old's incredible display helped the Dodgers win the pennant for the second consecutive year.

On Tuesday's episode of the "Mind the Game" podcast, NBA superstar LeBron James revealed how, just like most fans, he and his friends were also left stunned by Ohtani's astonishing exploits.

Dodgers Nation uploaded a clip of James' comments to X on Wednesday.

"Me and a few of our friends, we got a group chat, we were talking about [Shohei] Ohtani the other night. If I sent y’all a message and said that a guy struck out ten batters in an NLCS, you guys would be like ‘oh, that was a hell of a game by that pitcher. Wow.'

If I sent a separate text and said that in that same game, another guy came in and had three home runs in that same game..the same guy did that. He did both of those," LeBron James said.

Fans appeared to have mixed reactions to LeBron's claims. Many appreciated how one of the greatest NBA players recognized Ohtani's quality.

"LEGOAT RESPECTS GOATANI. THEY SAID TWO 🐐 CANT COEXIST," another fan commented.

"That’s greatness recognizing greatness," another fan replied.

Others were of the opinion that LeBron may have been exaggerating his claims.

"Dude a fake a** fan don’t post this lame," a fan responded.
"Probably another made up story lol," another fan shared.
"Is he lying again?" another fan posted.
