"Ozempic who?" - Anthony Rizzo's wife Emily reacts to Cubs great endorsing pet food company with their furry companion Kevin

A three-time All-Star and World Series champion, Anthony Rizzo is now a full-time family man, having called time on his professional baseball career in September.

Boasting over 900,000 Instagram followers, the infielder remains connected to fans via social media, giving them sneak peeks into daily his life through his posts.

On Thursday, Rizzo's dachshund, Kevin, made an appearance on his feed, as the first baseman showed showed off his furry companion's remarkable transformation, endorsing pet food company "The Farmer's Dog" in the process.

"Everyone’s favorite Rizzo, Kevin! After switching to The Farmer’s Dog for the past year, King Kev went from a Bratwurst to a Wiener dog," Rizzo posted.

Anthony's better half, Emily, left a comment, humorously claiming how the tweaks to Kevin's diet put Ozempic to shame.

"Ozempic who?" Emily Rizzo commented.

Primarily used to treat type-2 diabetes, Ozempic recently gained popularity in mainstream media as people realized one of the prescription drug's side effects includes facilitating weight loss at a rapid rate.

Anthony Rizzo and his wife, Emily, set to host an event to raise funds for a good cause

In 2012, about a year after making his big league debut, Anthony Rizzo set up his very own non-profit organization, known as the "Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation". Since he tied the knot in 2018, Anthony's wife, Emily, has also taken up an extremely active role in the foundation's operations.

Headquartered in the infielder's hometown of Parkland, Florida, the organization raises money for cancer research and provides support to cancer patients and their families.

On Monday, the foundation's official Instagram page revealed details about their latest event, which is set to take place on December 7.

"Join Anthony Rizzo on December 7th at the Walk-Off for Cancer and help us step up for pediatric cancer families. 💛🎗️Every dollar raised directly supports families facing the unthinkable — providing grants, relief, and hope when they need it most.
