The Toronto Blue Jays' activity in the market this offseason has made it clear they have every intention of building on the success of 2025.Having already signed starting pitchers Dylan Cease and Cody Ponce to bolster their rotation, the organization continues to be linked with other highly-regarded free agents such as Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette.Though signing both would be the dream scenario for Jays fans, insider Jon Morosi feels that Tucker's potential acquisition could hinder the organization's chances of landing Bichette."I think there is a legitimate possibility for Kyle Tucker and the Toronto Blue Jays," Morosi said. "You can see how the fit would be a very good one. You've got the reigning American League champion, the team's clearly committed to winning with the signings of Dylan Cease and Cody Ponce already this offseason. They brought back Shane Bieber. "Kyle Tucker is a good fit for this lineup, if they do not bring Bo Bichette back. You could see a scenario where (Addison) Barger plays third, (Ernie) Clement plays second, (Andres) Gimenez plays short, (Anthony) Santander in left, George Springer in right and this becomes your club. The Jays already have great depth of outfielders, but that's actually part of the reason why they might be able to sign Tucker on terms that they view as being favorable to them.""He is a very Blue Jays player" - insider offers his opinion on Kyle Tucker as rumors continue to link him with a move to the AL East championsFeaturing on Wednesday's episode of "MLB Tonight," inisder Keegan Matheson had his say on Kyle Tucker, and why his acquisition makes sense for Toronto."He is a very Blue Jays player," Matheson said. "He fits any team, I don't care who, but he does all the things the Jays really nail. That contact rate, the ability to get on base with a bit of a power threat, he's everything the Blue Jays do."The Blue Jays do have that outfield need. George Springer has one year left on his contract and Anthony Santander is probably not a Gold Glover so they could go both ways."Division Series - Milwaukee Brewers v Chicago Cubs - Game Four - Source: GettyPer sources, Kyle Tucker is projected to land a deal in the range of $370-400 million this winter.
