On Sunday, Kara checked off an item on her "Bucket list" by going horse riding with her husband. She posted a photo of the two sitting atop different horses. Kara was wearing a red outfit and a cowboy hat. Meanwhile, the Astros ace was shirtless with shorts.

In another story, Kara captured the evening mood. She posted a photo of the setting, showing fire rising from a sand pit while the couple relaxed on the beach. Kara captioned the story:

On the baseball front, McCullers had a rocky return on the mound after enduring a long recovery from flexor tendon surgery that kept him out for part of 2022 and all of 2023 and 2024. He made 13 starts, going 2-5 with an ERA of 6.51 over 55.1 innings pitched. He struck out 61 batters while allowing 39 walks.
