Jesus Luzardo ties the knot in a romantic Italian ceremony joined by Luis Arraez, Edmundo Sosa, and Christopher Sanchez with their spouses

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jesus Luzardo married his fiancée, Francesca, at the Villa Erba on Tuesday. The 19th-century villa on the western shore of Lake Como has featured in a Gwen Stefani music video and also in movies like "Ocean's Twelve" and "Old Guard 2".

Luzardo's wedding was a lavish celebration attended by many, including his current and former teammates. Representing the Phillies were Christopher Sanchez and Edmundo Sosa, while Luis Arraez, his former Marlins teammate, also joined the festivities.

On Wednesday, Sosa shared moments from Luzardo's big day on his Instagram. One of the snaps in the post showed the couple taking the vows. Sosa also captured a video in which the newlyweds, in their chairs, were lifted high in the air by the guests.

"The Luzardos 11.11.25," he captioned the post.

The cover image of the post was a snap of Sosa with his wife, Daira Vega. While Sosa wore a black tuxedo, his wife complemented him in a form-fitting, floor-length dress with a strapless, sweetheart neckline design.

Sosa posed with Luis Arraez in the second snap off the post. Long before Luzardo's wedding, Arraez and his wife had been enjoying their getaway in Italy.

Jesus Luzardo is Venezuelan, but was born in Peru. When he was very young, Luzardo's family relocated to Florida. He attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and was selected in the third round of the 2016 MLB draft by the Washington Nationals.

Luis Arraez, Christopher Sanchez, and Edumondo Sosa have not left Italy after Jesus Luzardo's wedding. Sanchez and Sosa took their wives on a double date in Milan, while Arraez also went on a romantic date with his wife.

On Wednesday, Sanchez's wife, Kaimary Perez, shared a multi-snap Instagram post, highlighting moments from Milan. In one of the snaps, Sanchez, Sosa, and their wives were at a diner. In another snap, Kaimary posed with Daira, the wife of Sosa.

On the same day, Luis Arraez's wife, Gladys, also shared a multi-snap Instagram post, highlighting her romantic date in Milan.

In all the snaps, Gladys was in a red blazer dress, paired with sheer red tights. One of the pictures on the post was a mirror selfie featuring Arraez.
