Baltimore Orioles star Jackson Holliday is enjoying his time away from the diamond as the American League East team's season ended last month after failing to qualify for October baseball.
With the Orioles star in the offseason, Holliday is cooling off at the beach with his wife, Chloe. In her latest Instagram story, Chloe shared a clip of the Orioles slugger playing with their dog, Coconut.
In the clip, Jackson ran around the beach with Coconut chasing him. Chloe captioned the story:
"I love them, they make every day so fun!!"

In the following story, Chloe shared the Orioles star's sculpted look, reacting with a heart eye emoji.

Jackson and Chloe got engaged in December 2022 and tied the knot in January 2024 before being promoted to the senior team by the Orioles last year. The duo adopted their dog, Coconut, a Bernedoodle, in March 2024.
Chloe has been the Orioles infielders' biggest supporter and often rocks up to Camden Yards to support him.
Jackson Holliday considered first choice at shortstop in Gunnar Henderson's absence
After an underwhelming start to his MLB career in the first half of the 2024 season, Jackson Holliday has bounced back strongly. The Orioles infielder has been one of the brightest spots for the team over the last two seasons.
Holliday, who played primarily as a shortstop before making his MLB debut, has been moved to second base by the Orioles. However, Baltimore's interim manager, Tony Mansolino, admitted earlier this month that Holliday could still be the guy at shortstop if Gunnar Henderson is unavailable.
“I think Holliday is probably the guy,” Mansolino said.. “I know he played those opening days in Toronto. It feels like five seasons ago, but it was this year. I think now he’s way more prepared to flip over and play a day or two at shortstop than he has ever been, just because the game has slowed down for him in a lot of ways.
“Strangely, when we do put [Holliday] over there, he seems to have like a little more comfort in a weird way at short. I think Jackson can do it. I don’t think it is a prerequisite for the utility guy here to have to play shortstop. It would be nice, but I think with Jackson’s ability to handle it, it makes it a little bit easier for Jeremiah not to have to," Mansolino added.
Holliday started 136 games at second base this season and was the starting shortstop six times.
