Upon his arrival in Los Angeles in 2020, Mookie Betts bought a mansion in the Encino neighborhood worth $7,600,000. The Dodgers star is known to have moved out of the home, but the luxurious establishment secured his roots in Southern California.

Mookie Betts had purchased the $7.6 million property five years ago from former San Francisco 49ers and UCLA head coach Chip Kelly. The house represented his high-profile celebrity status and reinforced his long-term commitment following his 12-year $365 million contract signed with the LA Dodgers.

Recently, on Tuesday, real estate agent Darren Kriz took to his Instagram to give fans a mini tour of the 9,400 square feet residence. The two-story house has a grand entrance with marble tiles, with neatly trimmed grass incorporated into the square design.

The interiors have a curvy staircase and lofty ceilings and include nine bedrooms and ten bathrooms. The amenities include a plush-seated home theater and a walk-in wine closet for leisure. The property houses an infinity-edge pool and spa, an outdoor fire pit, and a separate building that has a half indoor basketball court, bearing Betts' initials, "MB," along with a gym and an outdoor batting cage.

The house was initially put for sale by Betts in 2022 for $10 million. But after attracting no buyers, the former AL MVP lowered the price and reslited it at $8.5 million. As per an Instagram user, who dropped a comment on Kriz's post, Betts and his family moved out of the home in 2024 and currently reside in a $15 million mansion in the same neighborhood.

Mookie Betts' latest acquisition of real estate is a Mediterranean villa-style structure in the Encino area with modern lines, originally built in 1986. The deal was closed with local developer Jeff Huberts of Sandlot Homes in 2023, although the construction for the remodelling taken up by Huberts wasn't completed at the time.

While there are no public records, the tri-level structure has a stunning view of the San Fernando Valley. It has increased security and includes a guard shack for a full-time armed bodyguard. The property also boasts a rectangular swimming pool, an outdoor spa, and a full-size tennis court.
