Gunnar Henderson playfully teases wife Katherine during golf outing amid breathtaking scenery

Despite being on a post-wedding vacation, the athlete in Gunnar Henderson hasn't seemed to leave him. The Baltimore Orioles, who got married to long-term partner Katherine Lee last week, took to golfing on their Curacao trip.

Gunnar Henderson shared snaps on Instagram, swinging at the Old Quarry Golf Course in Curacao. According to him, he tried to engage his wife, Kartherine, to swing the club herself, but she seemed to be more interested in clicking some stunning snaps of her husband.

"Tried to get her to golf, but she took pictures instead," he captioned.

His wife had some self-appreciation after her husband's attempt at trolling her.

"I think I did pretty good," Katherine Henderson wrote.

Katherine Lee and Gunnar have been enjoying their time to the fullest in Curacao. On Tuesday, the Orioles WAG had posted snaps of Playa Marie Pampoen, a beach on the island known for its beautiful blue waters. She had also posted a picture of a sorbet-like dish at their fine dining restaurant.

The couple got married on November 15 in an intimate ceremony in Notasulga, Alabama, a town located 20 minutes from Auburn. In pictures shared on their Instagram, Katherine and Gunnar could be seen walking hand in hand against the stunning backdrop of the Notasulga Town Lake.

Gunnar was dressed in a classic black tuxedo while Katherine wore an off-shoulder white wedding gown. The couple went public for the first time in 2019, when both were still students at Auburn University. Katherine studied pharmacy while Henderson played baseball for the Tigers. The pair had announced their engagement in February 2024.

The wedding ceremony was attended by Gunnar Henderson's Baltimore Orioles teammates. Colton Cowser's fiancée, Claire Wolford, shared pictures of herself and other current and former Orioles wives and girlfriends, present for the ceremony as bridesmaids. The final picture in the carousel saw Henderson and his newlywedded wife affectionately sharing a kiss.

Henderson, Cowser and others in Baltimore's young core will be looking to lift the team in 2026 after a disappointing campaign where they finished last in the American League East standings. They got just 75 wins and finished 19.0 games behind the division winners, the Toronto Blue Jays.
