Toronto Blue Jays star George Springer lit up the faces of 3,700 kids across Canada during the holiday season. He teamed up with Jack Astor's to help make their wishes come true. Springer shared an Instagram video of his meeting with Delfina, an 11-year-old girl, on Saturday.“Today I got to meet someone pretty incredible," Springer said. "She plays competitive baseball on a boys' team. She also happens to be Make-A-Wish Canada’s wish recipient, who survived a liver transplant when she was little; her energy and confidence shine.”They both launched Santa’s Secret Menu at Jack Astor’s, which gave back to Make-A-Wish Canada.“There are 3,700 kids across Canada still waiting for their wish to be granted,” Springer captioned the post.Springer explained the initiative: people can visit Jack Astor's and order from Santa's Secret Menu, round up their bill or purchase a @makeawish_canada star to help the Tree of Wishes, which brings hope to families in need.“Spending time with Delfina was a reminder of how powerful a wish can be," Springer wrote.
