Francisco Lindor’s wife Katia takes playful jab as Mets star chills through a workout vs. her intense gym session

Francisco Lindor will have to look to be in shape by the time Spring Training comes around. But he is not letting up on his physique as the New York Mets shortstop and his Katia got into a healthy competition at the gym.

In a story posted on his Instagram account on Monday, Lindor could be seen cheering on his "locked in" wife as she attempts to complete a drill.

"Post PAL (Physical Acitivity Level) problems," he wrote.

Katia Lindor retorted with a playful jab of her own as she shared a clip of her husband lying down on a pilates reformer and checking his phone.

"I'm suffering and he's relaxing," Katia captioned her story.

As one of the more well-known couples in the baseball community on social media, the Lindors' commitment to a healthy lifestyle should inspire their followers. New Balance celebrated them in a special Holiday featurette on their website. Francisco, Katia, and their three daughters, Kalina, Amapola, and Koa, appear on the cover.

Katia also reshared stories from her friends who noticed the promotional campaign.

Francisco Lindor has been the face of New Balance since 2017, when he was with the Cleveland Guardians. The company has seen his ascension into one of the best all-around players in the league. He even has a special Francisco Lindor Signature Collection of cleats.

Francisco Lindor goes on dad duty with Detroit Tigers catcher Tomas Nido

Katia Lindor posted stories on her Instagram on Monday of their Southern Hill Farms getaway with fellow Puerto Rican-born baseball player, Tomas Nido, currently assigned to the Detroit Tigers organization, and his family. In a picture, the two can be seen taking on their fatherly responsibilities with their youngest children, with the baby carrier slung around their shoulders.

Apart from the Puerto Rican connection, Lindor and Nido had been teammates at the Mets from 2017 till the latter was released by the team in the middle of the 2024 season. Nido will be expected to reunite with Lindor for Team Puerto Rico at the 2026 World Baseball Classic, where Lindor is also set to captain.
