Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani made it two World Series wins in two seasons with the NL West team after winning the Fall Classic against the Toronto Blue Jays.

The three-time MVP participated in the World Series parade along with his wife, Mamiko, on Monday. During the parade, the Japanese two-way phenom pointed out a hilarious message from a fan in the crowd.

The message on the board read:

"Ohtani, marry my mom."

Mamiko burst into laughter after watching the message on the board.

Ohtani announced his marriage to Mamiko after joining the Dodgers in February last year. The duo welcomed their first child, a daughter, in April 2025.

Shohei Ohtani's wife Mamiko appreciated Blue Jays fans' chant during World Series

During Game 2 of the World Series against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre, fans chanted "we don't need him," highlighting Shohei Ohtani's failed move to Toronto in free agency.

Ohtani said that his wife appreciated the chant from the Blue Jays fans.

"It was a really great chant, and my wife really appreciated it,” Ohtani joked.

The Japanese superstar played a crucial role in team's World Series title this year as he was named the championship series MVP and pitched in the World Series for the first time in his career.

With two consecutive wins under his belt, the three-time MVP is aiming to do a tthree-peatwith the Dodgers.

“I want to say I’m so proud of this team and you guys are the greatest fans in the world,” Ohtani said. “I’m ready to get another ring next year. Let’s go.”

Ohtani is expected to be the favorite for the NL MVP award, set to abe nnounced later this month.
