Since announcing the birth of their first child, Ohtani and Mamiko have tried to keep her away from the limelight. However, when the three-time MVP was carrying her daughter in a stroller at Dodger Stadium, a Dodgers fan got close to record the Japanese star with his daughter and his wife.

Although the fan was eventually pushed aside, social media reacted to the incident involving Ohtani's family.

"It took WAY too long for my liking for that man to be pulled away. This could’ve been dangerous, thankfully it wasn’t. They need to up the security BAD."

"If you know anything about Japan, inserting yourself around and filming or taking selfies without permission is extremely disrespectful. All Dodgers fans should respect our players' privacy."

"This kid has autism, does it excuse it no ? But does process things the way you and I do ? No, have empathy."

"lol why they keep walking this guy through public areas 🤣 take the side or back way and no security or some old guy trying to play security."

Shohei Ohtani and his wife Mamiko Tanaka joined Dodgers' World Series parade

Shohei Ohtani played a crucial role in the Dodgers' World Series triumph as the NL West winners became the first team since the New York Yankees in 1999-2000 to win consecutive titles.

Following the win, the Dodgers organized a World Series parade from downtown LA to Dodger Stadium. Shohei Ohtani and his wife, Mamiko, were on a bus as part of the celebration. Mamiko was seen trying to record the three-time MVP's interaction with fans during the parade.
