Cal Raleigh’s girlfriend Hannah Shimek reacts as Mariners’ $105M star wins first career AL Silver Slugger Award

Finishing the regular season with a .247 batting average, 60 home runs and 125 RBIs, Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh enjoyed an MVP-caliber campaign in 2025.

As a result, the 28-year-old was also nominated for a Silver Slugger award. On Friday, the Seattle Mariners took to Instagram to announce Raleigh had won the prestigious prize for the first time in his career.

Shortly after, Cal's girlfriend, Hannah Shimek, shared the same post to her story, simply up her feelings with an emoticon.

Not much is known about when and how Cal Raleigh and Hannah Shimek first met, as the couple have preferred to keep those details away from the public eye. They first made their relationship official back in 2024, when they were spotted attending the Mariners Care Foundation Summer Soiree together.

Just like Cal, Hannah is also quite an accomplished athlete. Playing softball for Southern Oregon University, Shimek won two national championships.

There, they faced off against the Toronto Blue Jays, and despite racing out to a 2-0 lead, it was the Blue Jays that eventually took the series after it went all the way to 7 games.

Soon after the Mariners' heartbreaking playoff exit, Hannah Shimek took to Instagram to reflect on the season gone by.
