The San Diego Padres suffered a major injury blow on Tuesday after veteran starting pitcher Yu Darvish announced a surgery.Darvish has undergone a UCL repair surgery on his right elbow that will sideline him for 12-15 months, ruling the Japanese pitcher out for the 2026 season.The All-Star ace shared the update on Instagram, writing:“Last Wednesday I had surgery done by Dr. [Keith] Meister to repair my flexor tendon, have an internal brace attached to my UCL.
