The final game of the World Series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers saw benches getting cleared for a brief time after Dodgers reliever Justin Wrobleski threw an inside pitch to Andres Gimenez before a 96.4 mph fastball hit his right hand.Shortly after the hit by pitch in the fourth inning, there was a tense verbal exchange between the two before the players from both teams emerged from the dugout. The home plate umpire warned both dugouts, but no one was ejected.According to Wrobleski, Gimenez was deliberately trying to get hit."I mean, I wasn't trying to," Wrobleski said after the game. "He tried to get hit by the pitch before, and then he got hit, and then he talked to me, and then I said, come see me, and he didn't. So, whatever."Justin Wrobleski’s solid relief work in 2025 World Series Game 7Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Justin Wrobleski (70) is relieved in the fourth inning against the Toronto Blue Jays during game seven of the 2025 MLB World Series at Rogers Centre.
