Alex Rodriguez and his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro had another NBA courtside moment as they were in attendance to watch the Minnesota Timberwolves vs the Los Angeles Clippers at Target Center, Minneapolis.
On Sunday, Rodriguez posted a photo from the sidelines as the couple were sitting hand-in-hand. The former New York Yankees star was wearing a dark navy suit with a monochromatic tie on top of a crisp white shirt. Cordeiro wore a black button-down blouse with a matching black skirt. She accessorized the outfit with silver high heels and minimal jewelry (bracelet, watch).

Jaden McDaniels (team-high 27 points) and Julius Randle (24 points) led the Timberwolves from the front in scoring. McDaniels also had two steals and one block. Meanwhile, Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards struggled to get going as he posted a -9 (+/-) rating.
On the other hand, James Harden led the Clippers with 34 points, supported by Kawhi Leonard's 20 points. John Collins and Ivica Zubac also put up double-digit scores, but in vain, as the Timberwolves turned it around in the final quarter.
Jaclyn Cordeiro's boyfriend Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore finally becomes Timberwolves majority owner
Almost a year-long dispute between Alex Rodriguez/Marc Lore and Glen Taylor regarding the majority ownership of the Minnesota franchise in the NBA and WNBA came to an end after the arbitration ruled in favor of A-Rod and Lore.
The dispute was over the terms of payment in the contract and Taylor showed resistance to leaving the majority ownership.
After the arbitration ruling, A-Rod and Lore went to the NBA Board of Governors on June 24, 2025, for naming them majority owners. Under this leadership change, Lore will serve as Governor of the Timberwolves, with Rodriguez as Alternate Governor. For the Lynx, Rodriguez is the Governor, and Lore is the Alternate Governor.
It was first in 2021 when A-Rod and Marc Lore proposed to buy the team. They first bought an initial 20% stake and by 2023, they were 40% owners. They exercised their option to buy the final 40% to gain a controlling interest. However, in March 2024, Taylor declared the teams "no longer for sale," claiming Rodriguez & Lore missed a payment deadline.
On the other end, A-Rod and Lore successfully argued their case that they had met the required obligations of the contract.
