Having joined the Boston Red Sox after signing a three-year, $120 million deal in February, Alex Bregman enjoyed a great season. Hitting .273 with 18 home runs and 62 RBIs, the third baseman helped his team end their playoff drought, earning his third All-Star selection in the process.

Looking to land an improved deal this winter, Bregman opted out of the remainder of his contract on Nov. 3, becoming a free agent once again.

While the familar buzz of free agency surrounds him, Alex Bregman celebrated completing five years of marriage with his better half, Reagan, on Friday. To celebrate, the infielder posted a snap to his Instagram story, accompanied by a romantic message.

"5 years baby! I love you! @reaganelizabeth," Bregman posted.

Per sources, Alex and Reagan first met each other at a group dinner in Houston alongside mutual friends. They quickly hit it off and began dating.

Initially, they had to maintain a long-distance relationship. While Alex played baseball in Houston, Reagan worked for Google in Austin, about a three-hour drive away.

Bregman eventually popped the big question in January 2020, and the pair went on to tie the knot eleven months later. The couple share two sons, Knox, born Aug. 1, 2022, and Bennett, born April 16, 2025.

Bregman was a fan favorite Fenway Park in 2025, and the Red Sox are reportedly keen on re-signing the infielder this offseason. However, nothing is yet set in stone, as several other organizations continue to maintain an interest in acquiring the two-time World Series champion.
