Toronto Blue Jays ace Shane Bieber’s wife, Kara, responded to a Q&A session with quirky charm. On Monday, Kara's followers asked her some personal questions about motherhood on Instagram. One of the questions she tackled was, "How many kids do you want?"
Kara replied in sassy style,
"Honestly, I’m not dead set on a number. I think we will feel it out as we go. When SB and I talk about it, we say 3 – God willing! Actually, he says a basketball team, but ultimately it’s up to me, lmao."
Another follower asked her,
"Did you enjoy being pregnant?"
Kara had a heartfelt response,
"Overall, yes, I loved it. It was a truly life-altering experience. I’d never felt so sure of myself or what I wanted for the future. A beautifully brutal roller coaster ride for sure."

Bieber and Kara welcomed their firstborn, Kav Maclain, in March 2025. On her first Mother’s Day post, she thanked her blessings and promised to protect him.
Kara wrote a poetic verse,
"The role is ever-changing, beautifully complex & demands so much strength; what it is to be a woman."
"I already miss them so much," Shane Bieber’s wife, Kara, wrote in a message for the Blue Jays players’ partners.
On Monday, Kara shared a snapshot of World Series Game 1 with Jeff Hoffman’s wife, Marissa, and Kevin Gausman’s wife, Taylor. When one of her followers asked, "Have you been in touch with the Jays Girlies?"
Kara replied,
"Yes, I already miss them so much!! It was truly such a special group of women."

Shane Bieber also expressed his gratitude for the comfortable bond the Blue Jays team and their families shared. He addressed the media after Game 3 World Series,
"My teammates and their families have helped my wife accommodate better than ever."
In November, Shane Bieber decided to stay with the Toronto Blue Jays for the 2026 season for $16 million. After recovering from major Tommy John surgery, he posted a decent 3.59 ERA in seven regular-season starts. He then made four starts in the postseason, going 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA.
