AEW star Jon Moxley has been 'the Ace' of the promotion since he joined the organization. He has carried the company on his back for over five years. Not only that, but he is also known for helping younger talent both in the ring and backstage. He has taken on the role of a mentor and coach.

The former AEW World Champion's recent run will be remembered for a long time. Initially, fans hated the Death Riders because they were tired of recycled angles. However, 2025 has been a great year for the faction. They will soon head into a Blood and Guts match against The Conglomeration.

A fan recently speculated that Jon Moxley could soon join WWE and become a world champion. However, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp noted that The Purveyor of Violence's contract doesn't end until 2027.

Matt Hardy backs Jon Moxley amid recent controversy

WrestleDream saw Darby Allin stand tall over The One True King. Despite the latter's many brutal efforts, the former TNT Champion refused to quit. One spot in the match had Jon Moxley dipping The Relentless star's head into a fish tank. Former AEW talent Sarah Stock opposed the violent act and said the show isn't suitable for kids.

While speaking on the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the TNA star said that the spot wasn't that unsafe and claimed that pro wrestling has seen far worse spots.

"I saw the spot and by no means do I think that this is the worst thing that AEW has ever done... Sure it’s not the greatest thing I’ve seen on TV but I mean you can say that from TNA, you can say that from WWE. There’s been incidents that have happened across all these places where there’s been controversial things that kids should not try at home," said Matt.

It will be interesting to see what goes down at Blood and Guts.
