A former TNT Champion reportedly sustained a legitimate injury during his match on AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming. Perry squared off against Kazuchika Okada in the 2025 Continental Classic Gold League match. Jack seemed to be hurt after a diving spot on Okada at the ringside, but he went on to continue the match.According to a report from Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer, Jack Perry's ankle was legitimately hurt during the diving spot in his match against Okada. Nevertheless, Jack reportedly worked through the injury and looks to be fine now, according to Alvarez.Perry has replaced Darby Allin in the Continental Classic tournament, who is currently out of action. Jack failed to defeat Okada on Dynamite: Winter is Coming in the Gold League match. After the match, Don Callis offered Perry to join his faction. Jack refused, and chaos erupted in the ring between DCF and The Young Bucks.AEW star wants Jack Perry to win the Continental ClassicAs mentioned earlier, AEW star Darby Allin got replaced by Jack Perry in the Continental Classic Gold league. Darby is currently out of action due to injury. During a backstage promo on Collision last Saturday, Darby addressed getting replaced by Perry and urged him to win the whole tournament.Darby Allin also admitted that he doesn't know about his future in Tony Khan's promotion:"Now I hear, Jack Perry is taking my spot. I've never seen eye to eye Jack Perry, but if you're taking my spot man, just go on win the whole thing. I hope you do. As for Darby, I don't know, don't....know."Jack Perry currently has zero points in the Gold league. It remains to be seen how he fares in the rest of the tournament.
