The duo made headlines, however, when news broke that they had refused to lose to their opponents, TayJay, and left the tapings. Afterwards, reports emerged clarifying that the stars had objected to the brief run-time of their match, which they themselves confirmed on a live stream.More updates on the situation subsequently began making the rounds, with one report alluding to issues during Nixon and Miranda's first AEW match against Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne, specifically with respect to certain elements of the bout involving The Megasus. It was even claimed that former AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson "wasn't thrilled" with the matchup, and had a conversation on the matter with Newell and Alize on November 1. On a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer indicated that All Elite Wrestling may not book Nixon and Miranda again anytime soon, stating:"Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize were told it was going to be a three-minute match, and they were not happy that the last match they did was three minutes. They wouldn’t do another one, and they left. Now, they did a taping, and I don’t know what exactly they said, but apparently, it was negative towards AEW, and another one that was less negative.
