He recently spoke with two former WWE stars who had an uncooperative bout.Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize walked out of the recent Collision taping after refusing to lose to Tay Melo and Anna Jay. The duo walked out as the two former WWE stars believed it wouldn't help anybody. Some reports claim that their debut match against Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir on Fright Night Collision had many flaws. The Megasus was reportedly furious as the match didn't go as planned.According to Fightful, Bryan Danielson was also unhappy with how the contest between the two teams went down. He even spoke with Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize regarding the issue.How did the AEW locker room react to the walkout incident?Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize decided not to wrestle a three-minute match and left the tapings after discussing the notion with the authorities.On Wrestling Observer Radio, journalist Bryan Alvarez said that many AEW personnel backstage deemed their move 'stupid'."Let me tell you something I heard from a lot of people, and what is amazing is that the show was going on. So, people weren't even waiting until the show was over. Maybe Tony told them there were no hard feelings, but I can tell you one thing, there were so many people that were like 'such a stupid thing to do,' that's the one thing i heard over and over, 'what a stupid thing to do.,'" said Alvarez.It remains to be seen what is next for Nixon and Miranda, as they might not be seen in AEW in the future.
