Now, the reports officially reveal why AEW decided to reunite Bucks and Omega.The Cleaner was fired from The Elite in March 2024 by Kazuchika Okada and Young Bucks. He was away from the faction since then, often fighting against them throughout the year. However, at Full Gear, Don Callis Family laid their eyes on Omega to take him out for good. The Young Bucks unexpectedly came to the rescue of their former leader, leading to a heartwarming reunion.According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW has decided to reunite The Elite to avoid putting Omega in long singles matches. The report suggests that Trios action would allow The Best Bout Machine to remain active on television while being away from risky spots in the ring. Such a decision could very well protect the former AEW World Champion.Additionally, this means Omega's health is seriously affecting the creative direction of the AEW programming.
