Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Penta, who has also been AEW World Trios Champion, recently talked about his time in All Elite Wrestling. El Miedo made his debut in WWE in January this year, followed by his brother, who made his debut in April. Penta and Rey Fenix have been credible names in the WWE mid-card division since then, with several memorable moments in WWE already. However, before they entered WWE, the duo made a significant name for themselves in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

Speaking on Mafufa's Chronicles, Penta expressed gratitude to All Elite Wrestling for giving him and his brother a fantastic time. However, El Miedo said that despite having everything in the company, they felt that something was missing. He called it competitive hunger. Therefore, to pursue career growth, the luchadors left the Elite locker room to join the juggernaut of sports entertainment.

"You’re leaving your comfort zone — where you already know how things work, where you earn certain money, you can wrestle wherever you want… it’s comfortable. I also had more control in AEW. But deep down, you know there’s something missing. It wasn’t money, it wasn’t fame — it was competitive hunger. Growth. That’s what finally took us to WWE,” said Penta.
