Jon Moxley (FKA Dean Ambrose) has had an illustrious career, having been affiliated with several major promotions over the years. Interestingly, it seems like WWE has erased him from its history.

Mox was with the Stamford-based promotion from 2011 to 2019. This included his time as one-third of SHIELD, along with his major singles run, which led him to a reign as the WWE Champion. After his contract with the company ended, he was spotted weeks later debuting for AEW, where he has been a pivotal figure for the last six years.

During the Countdown to Survivor Series: WarGames, which was streamed live a few hours ago, WWE showed a compilation of the top 10 moments in the PLE's history. One of these included several major debuts occurring during the shows. Some examples included The Undertaker, The Rock, Kurt Angle, and The Rock.

They briefly showed the moment where The SHIELD made their main roster debut and hit a Triple Powerbomb on Ryback through a table. However, during the moment when cameras were focused on them, Jon Moxley was omitted. This only showed Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins side by side.

Jon Moxley is entered in the AEW Continental Classic

Currently, Jon Moxley is heavily featured in AEW as he is part of this year's Continental Classic tournament. This is the promotion's most anticipated annual event, featuring 12 competitors split into two leagues competing in a round-robin tournament.

This is Mox's second time entering the C2, as he was part of the first-ever tournament in 2023. He was absent from last year's edition because he was the world champion at the time and focused on defending it. This year, he is under the Blue League with several top competitors, including IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita, Orange Cassidy, and his Death Rider comrade, Claudio Castagnoli.

The Purveyor of Violence has faced several setbacks as of late. Winning the entire Continental Classic would go a long way for him.
