A former WWE World Champion recalled how he was told to lose in seconds by Vince McMahon at an infamous WrestleMania match. The veteran also revealed whether he objected to it.
The WWE legend and current AEW star, Bryan Danielson (fka Daniel Bryan) was told to lose in seconds by Vince McMahon. At WrestleMania 28 back in 2012, Bryan was slated to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus. In a shocking moment, Sheamus defeated Danielson in just 18 seconds.
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insights, Bryan Danielson revealed what the McMahon-led creative team told him about losing in 18 seconds:
“What they said is, it’s one move. So yeah, that was the direction,” Bryan disclosed.

On being asked whether he asked why about losing, Bryan answered the following:
"No. I wasn’t at that point in my career. Also, I’ve never been somebody who’s been like, ‘Wait a second, why would you beat me in 18 seconds?’ Or ‘Why would you beat me with just one move?’ Or whatever it was. Popular star claims Vince McMahon wanted a top World leader in WWE
The popular WWE star, Lana (aka CJ Perry), recently revealed that Vince McMahon once wanted the World leader and Russian President, Vladimir Putin to come to a show. Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Lana stated the following:
"Vince just could identify more with Putin because you know, Vince is lifting 650 lbs, you know? At 75 he is squatting. It’s like, you’re a maniac. He wanted Vladimir Putin to come to a show. He’s like ‘I hope he’s going to come."
Meanwhile, Vince is still out of the wrestling scene due to some allegations and lawsuits. Only time will tell what the future has in store for the former WWE Chairman.
