"You’re off the mark, @jamesdub7. I’m thrilled @AEW exists. I honestly LOVE the @youngbucks. I respect @TonyKhan & am grateful he was willing & able to create an alternative product. Really enjoyed most of my time at AEW. After 34 years of doing this, I clearly understand what drives this industry & makes money. I don’t have any issues with @davemeltzerWON, I’ve met him a couple time in Cali at shows & realize he’s just doing what makes him a living," Matt wrote.

WWE legend also offered advice for AEW

The WWE veteran Matt Hardy also advised AEW in his above post to not just cater to the hardcore fans, who are referred to as "Sickos." He also stated that Tony Khan's promotion should bring casual fans to grow the company:

"As far as the Sickos go, I feel like AEW shouldn’t just cater towards them. To grow your company, it’s paramount to bring every viewer to your show that you can, especially children & casual fans. Multiple successful companies in the industry makes the pro wrestling business a better place for the people that work in the biz & the fans."

Meanwhile, Matt Hardy is the current TNA World Tag Team Champion alongside his brother, Jeff Hardy, and only time will tell what's next for him.
