WWE legend gives urgent advice to Adam Cole amid rumors he will never wrestle again due to injuries

Former WWE and current AEW star Adam Cole may be done with active competition, as per recent speculations. Wrestling veteran Booker T has now shared his two cents on the subject by reiterating his prior comments regarding The Panama City Playboy's health and physique.

Adam Cole, who was the reigning TNT Champion earlier in July, was supposed to defend his belt against Kyle Fletcher at All In : Texas, but ahead of the event it was revealed that the star had to be pulled out of the match due to health issues. The Paragon member relinquished his title and cut a tearful promo at the pay-per-view itself, voicing uncertainty regarding his future in the sport besides thanking fans for their years of support.

Recently, rumors have been making the rounds that Cole may not step back into the squared circle again, especially after Tony Khan's recent ambiguous remarks on the subject. Addressing the former WWE NXT Champion's status on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T revisited his argument from back in 2022 that Cole's injuries may have stemmed from his smaller size and build, and claimed that his health issues could have been prevented if he had followed certain measures.

“Bro, Adam Cole, you know, I’m not saying anything bad about Adam Cole or anything like that, but Adam Cole’s been banged up for quite some time.... I mean, every time this guy get back in the ring—bang—he gets injured, he get hurt. And I made a comment that, you know, maybe if Adam Cole, you know, took a little bit more protein, you know, got in the gym, hit the gym a little bit, you know, drank a little bit more milk, you know, got a little bit more dense bone."

The WWE NXT commentator added:

“I like that right there. Dense bone. You know what I mean? That right there is something you need when you’re in the wrestling business.” [H/T - Ringside News]

In his last match till date, just days ahead of AEW All In : Texas, Adam Cole teamed with his long-time stable-mates, former WWE NXT superstars Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly, to take on Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta in trios action on the July 10 edition of AEW Collision. The Paragon picked up the victory over The Don Callis Family members on the show.
