WWE Hall of Famer’s son makes his in-ring debut

WWE today consists of several second-generation stars. Wrestling has been passed down through many generations over the years, giving birth to some legends in the sport. Another Hall of Famer's son has made his in-ring debut. The star in question is none other than the Icon Sting.

Sting made a name for himself in the 80s and 90s, wrestling for WCW until its demise in 2001. He later had an iconic run in TNA Wrestling before eventually joining the Stamford-based promotion in 2014. He had his final run in All Elite Wrestling before finally retiring in 2024.

Sting's son Steve Borden recently made his pro-wrestling debut for an independent wrestling promotion named DEFY Wrestling. Many people stated that he looked a lot like his father. His performance was praised by fans.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sting. Fans are excited to see more of his matches on the independent wrestling scene.

Sting had his final match at AEW Revolution 2024, teaming up with Darby Allin to defend their AEW World Tag Team Championships against the Young Bucks. During Sting's entrance at the event, his sons dressed up as his older gimmicks and accompanied him to the ring.

During the match, both of his sons, Steven Jr. and Garrett, made cameo appearances. The bout was filled with incredible spots, yet The Icon emerged victorious with his disciple.

Many fans weren't happy with how Sting's career had ended in WWE. It was great to see him retire after having a great run along with Darby Allin and staying undefeated in the company. The Icon also retired while still being the AEW World Tag Team Champion.
