Chris Jericho's wrestling future has remained uncertain ever since his hiatus from AEW. Amidst the prolonged absence, a WWE Hall of Famer made an interesting statement about the first-ever Undisputed Champion.

The aforementioned name, who is a renowned wrestling veteran, is Eric Bischoff. Chris Jericho was last seen on AEW television in April 2025. The Ayatollah of Rock' n' Rolla has been fueling rumors and speculations of a potential WWE return that have been circulating for months. A report also stated that he would come back to WWE for a potential retirement tour and Hall of Fame induction. However, Jericho himself revealed that he is still with All Elite Wrestling for now.

In a recent edition of his podcast, 83 Weeks, Eric Bischoff made a huge confession regarding Jericho. He really hoped that the former AEW World Champion would stay with the Jacksonville-based promotion and believed that he had more value to them.

Eric Bischoff says that Chris Jericho is raising his stock value amidst AEW hiatus

In the same edition of his podcast, Eric Bischoff gave an in-depth analysis of Jericho's situation. He believed that Jericho was keeping himself relevant and raising his value, regardless of whether he went back to WWE or stayed with AEW.

“He’s raising his stock value. And guess what? If he stays with AEW, he’s more valuable than he was six months ago. And if he’s not going to stay with AEW, he has value that he didn’t have six months ago… But Chris is smart enough to see that.”- H/T TJR Wrestling
