A major AEW star was recently pulled from a major event due to an unfortunate occurrence. One-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champion Rush has been one of the most talented stars on the roster right now. He and Sammy Guevara hold the tag titles. While the 37-year-old star was already a champion, he was aiming to challenge for the ROH World Championship at Final Battle.Two weeks ago, on Collision, Bandido, JetSpeed, and Juice Robinson defeated FTR and La Faccion Ingobernable. Rush is believed to have injured his knee during this match. Now that he is sidelined, AEW President Tony Khan recently made a huge announcement regarding his replacement at Final Battle.Tony Khan took to X and announced Rush's injury. He said that at the Final Battle, Bandido will defend his ROH World Championship against Hechicero, Blake Christian, Beast Mortos, Sammy Guevara, and Komander in a Survival of the Fittest contest.Tony Khan recently announced another change of plans due to an AEW star's hiatusKyle O'Reilly went to war against Jon Moxley at Full Gear last Saturday in a No Holds Barred contest. While the Death Riders' leader got up after the defeat, the Conglomeration member was checked by doctors.During the post-show of Full Gear, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Kyle O'Reilly might be out due to potential injuries and will not be able to take part in the Continental Classic tournament."Kyle O’Reilly will probably be out of action and it’s unfortunate because Kyle did want to wrestle in the Continental Classic he was really excited about it… I think Kyle’s probably not going to be cleared and will probably have to deal with some injuries coming out of what was an incredible no-holds-barred match," said Khan.It remains to be seen when ROH World Tag Team Champion Rush and Kyle O'Reilly will return to action from their hiatus.
